...the Fibonacci Sequence comes up in a seminar (on quasicrystals). The first thing that popped to my mind was that parrot saying "1, 1, 2, 3, 5... Eureka!" :)

Oh, by the way, I'm Rebecca. I'm a first year chemistry grad student. One of my classes is called "Mathematical Methods for Physical Sciences." Right now, I am learning about complex calculus. :) (Or :(, since I, like the other chemistry people, am fairly confused.)

Awww...the Fibonacci Sequence. I love it! I also thought about that very line whenever it was mentioned in any of math classes in college.
