Hey guys, I know it's been awhile since I posted anything noteworthy here, but I come with some exciting developments! Joe Howard (aka George Frankly) recently stopped by the Square One TV fansite and left us a nice note in the Guestbook!

Having done so, we were able to get in touch with him so we could have a little "Q & A" session. So far we've been conducting it via E-mail, but Joe also just joined up at the Forum and answered some of the questions there! Check it out!

(NOTE: If you guys can't view the Forum without joining, let me know, and I can always cross-post the Q & A here.)

Answers and Questions with "George".

Ahh, the wonders of modern technology combined with some good hearty nostalgia!!

While I know some of you don't wish to join the Forum, you can at least stop by and read what Joe had to say (some interesting 'Behind-the-Scenes' insight can be had), or if you'd like to ask anything, you can do that as well! If you'd rather not join the Forum, but have questions, just post them here and I'll relay them to Joe. ^_^

We're also hoping to get Beverly Leech to come aboard when she has the time, so stay tuned! ^_^

Thanks for reading, and enjoy! -Jill :@ )

How cool! Nostalgic indeed. I know it's been awhile, but I feel kind of vindicated knowing that Square One could have stayed on TV if not for the new management. I guess I'd just assumed the ratings weren't high enough, and I figured since it certainly couldn't have been because of the quality of the show, it was just that people really didn't find math interesting. I'm glad.

I was surprised to learn this also, I was glad Joe had the insight, even though I'm a bit disappointed they just gave up on SQTV for shows that weren't nearly as good (like Ghostwriter). I hope he'll have more interesting stuff to share later!
